RADIX collects no personal data beyond what you voluntarily provide through a form on this site. This policy covers the contact form, newsletter subscriptions, and essay submissions to The Neighboring Tree.
RADIX is a publication of Null Ventures LLC. In this policy, “we” refers to Null Ventures LLC operating radixbook.com.

Contact form
When you submit the contact form we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Any message you choose to include
- Newsletter opt-in preference (if selected)
Used solely to respond to your inquiry and, if you opt in, to send you updates about RADIX.
Newsletter subscriptions (The Letter)
When you subscribe to The Letter through a form on the site, we collect your email address and the page or context of the subscription. Your email is used only to send The Letter and occasional program updates related to RADIX. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in every issue.
The Neighboring Tree submissions
When you submit an essay through The Neighboring Tree submission form, we collect:
- Your name (and byline, if different)
- Your email address
- Your city or place, if you choose to provide it
- The essay title and full text
- Prior-publication information you disclose
- Any tool or AI-assistance you disclose
- Any optional note to Alexander
- Your acceptance of the writer’s covenant and submission terms, and the terms version in effect at the time of submission
- Your electronic signature (typed legal name) and the date of submission
Used for editorial review, correspondence about your piece, and, if a piece is accepted and published, to identify you as the author using the byline you approved.
City, byline, and other public-facing details are shown only if a piece is published, and only with your approval.
Retention. Submissions are retained for the duration of the editorial process. Submissions that are not selected or that you withdraw are retained for up to twelve months as an editorial record, then deleted. Published submissions and their associated consent records are retained indefinitely as part of the site archive.
Withdrawal and deletion. You may withdraw a submission at any time before it is published by writing to alexander@radixbook.com with your submission reference. If you request deletion of a submission that has not been published, we will delete it and its associated consent records within thirty days.
Service providers
The site is hosted on Netlify. Form submissions on this site — the contact form, newsletter signups, and Neighboring Tree submissions — are received and stored by Netlify on our behalf as part of that hosting relationship. Netlify processes this data according to its own privacy commitments. We do not sell or license your data to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not share your information with third parties for marketing or advertising.
- We do not track your browsing behavior across sites.
- We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics beyond basic server logs.
Mobile Application (RADIX Oracle)
No Data Collection
The RADIX Oracle app collects no personal data whatsoever.
Local Storage Only
The app stores the following information locally on your device only:
- Number of cards drawn today
- Current streak count
- Notification preferences
- Haptic feedback settings
This data never leaves your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertisements.
Your Rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information you have submitted through this site. Write to support@radixbook.com. For submissions to The Neighboring Tree, write to alexander@radixbook.com with your submission reference.
Children
The Neighboring Tree submission form is intended for individuals eighteen years of age or older. If we learn that a submission was made by a person under eighteen, we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
